Ubuntu works beautifully on this tiny netbook. Wireless, Sound, and video all work great almost out of the box.

If you fly Song, you'll be using Linux. After we boarded the plane, they said a reboot of the computers was needed. So they did, and what do I see in front of me? Linux! It was not a distro that I recognized. It must be some commercial version, but it was indeed Linux (as I saw loading kernel things, starting services, etc)

My first time trying xfce, so I figgered i'd share a glimpse. To me it feels like a little less heavy replacement for Gnome, though it's not quite as flexible. Still using 2 monitors with my nVidia TwinView card.

i threw together a bunch of metacity/gtk2 themes and pulled up most of the apps i use day to day. i'm using two monitors with my one nVidia GeForce 4 MX 440 (TwinView and Xinerama enabled).

Internet Explorer 6 running under Slackware Linux 9.0 using CrossOver Office 1.3.1. Outlook Express also functions, as well as the rest of the MS Office suite. Not that I need it with my open source alternatives ;)
