i realize you are asking for why it is happening but think what you 
really want is to save yourself from wasting time,
can you run spell check on the forms and discard any with lots of nonsense?

a little off topic but in the same time frame i have noticed the spam i 
recieve has changed from viagra and other drugs to stock market deals
