Remember Negroponte, architect of the death squads in El Salvador, was
assigned to Iraq long enough to get them going there.

In other words, the apparent civil war may actually be less a civil war
than massive U.S. sponsored death squads, intended to break the will of
the people and bring them into submission to the U.S., while at the
same time perpetuating a pretext for the argument that the U.S. should
remain in Iraq as so-called "peace keepers."

And, why, instead of dismissing and/or prosecuting them, is the U.S.
pulling hundreds of police tied to death squads and retraining them
