Everyone probably already knows about this considering it seems to win a Hugo for best anthology or editor every other year, but if you aren't up for keeping up a monthly subscription then I recommend Gardner Dozois' annual "The Year's Best Sci-fi". That's usually about 4 good stories and 15 OMGWow stories. :)
