[Linux] DB and Web Front End

I'm a big perl proponent because you can do so much more than web apps with it.
But if you've already done a bit of php just use that. That's probably easiest for
a newbie web coder, anyway. If you stick to standard sql and pay attention
to any data type discrepencies you can switch between oracle and mysql and
other dbs pretty much at will.
