Here is what I would do

>From the Postfix machine 

1)  telnet smtp.comcast.net 25

You should get a 220

2)  type helo test@comcast.net

You should get a 250

3) mail from: test@comcast.net

You should get a 250.  This is if SMTP authentication is not necessary

4)  rcpt to: your email address and it should be one on Comcast i.e.
rcpt to: DWilliams@comcast.net

You should get a 250

5)  type the word data and press enter

You should get End data with <CR><LF>.<CR><LF>

Just type the word test and press enter
on a new line just enter a . and press enter

You should get 250 queued as

Press Ctrl C to see if you get the email. If it fails please tell me
where it failed.
