lol, I like the way you put your idea out there about sharing the .pst
files! I have suggested gmail several times but the boss keeps saying he
paid for outlook so he is going to use it. (he does feel like he got
screwed since he can do what he wants with gmail for free though)
So long story short, I just need to put the .pst files and the calender in a
location like /outlook or something and give the proper permissions, that's
it? Wow that seams easy!

You could use samba on your linux box (or any other type of file server) to do this quite easily. For better performance you might also want to consider a locally attached external hard drive if the PSTs are large, like over a gigabyte in size. Basically just don't store the PSTs on the system drive and your boss can reformat all he wants, you will not lose anything.
