[Linux] flux wiki?

1. As someone who have used and still uses wiki for web sites, I can tell
you it is not a good idea. An open wiki is an invitation for spam and
pranks, not to mention the potential for flame wars.

If you close the wiki partially (create edit password to a group) you have
to maintain the list and make piece between users, and still have to control
the content creation process, i.e. moderate and edit.

If you close the wiki completely, so only you can create and edit pages, it
is a nice tool but not a public wiki. And even then you have to monitor and
update because of bugs and vulnerabilities.

All of these tasks add up to a full time job.

In addition, the only content I can think of that would be unique to flux
are extensions of the lectures, and those really should be maintained and
controlled by the speakers. Oh, yes, maybe critiques of the restaurants
where people dine before and after the meet.

I say forget it, and if you can't run in on someone's own server.
