I want to use it on a server. I have it installed on a desktop, and it is
absolutely the best bit-torrent program from the ones I tried on Linux. The
problem is that the Ubuntu server does not have X installed, and I was
hoping to avoid the overhead in running a gui.
I was hoping to use azureus on the server to share personal videos (vacation
short videos, pets, birds and insects, maybe even some music videos from
local bands, etc.) with friends. Sharing from the desktop has its securities
risks.
I know bit-torrent can be run headless, but - at least on my setup - it is
unstable and also very slow and resource inefficient.
