Can anyone recommend a (USB) TV Card (TV Tuner card) that will work with Mac
OS-X on a macbook, a windows desktop and a linux boxen?
I have a Hauppauge PCI WinTV PVR-150 which can work with both linux and
windows, but is not compatible with a macbook. Since the 3 boxes only have
USB in common, it should be a USB tuner. I would like to use the card on a
linux box, too, hence it should play well with linux as well. I take it that
most cards would work with WinXP.
I record mostly analog channels, some digital, very limited HD, but it is
nice to have options available.
Thanks,
Z.
PS BTW, has anyone a successful experience with an AMD Turion x64 laptop? I
tried ubuntu 7.04 on several of those recently, with mixed to poor results.
The more recent ones simply locked up. Older model worked, but through error
messages during the boot-up.
