The first thing I do everyday when I come in to work is plugin in my
ipod to my ubuntu box and start up Rhythmbox, the default music player
for Ubuntu. It recognizes the ipod perfectly. I then listen to any
songs, search the ipod or listen to my playlists. By default, the ipod
is mounted read-only so read-only activities are supported.
