[Linux] Q. two `puters on one pppoe line

Hey everybody,
I had two computers hooked up to a hub with reverse line running to the
alcatel/nic.I know that with dhcp it would conflict as only one of the
cards mac address was registered, but I am wondering about pppoe. As it
is I have never went online with both computers at once, only one at a
time, or pppoe and 28k modem, but I was wondering if there would be a
collision? If both machines had the same IP ie 192.168.1.3 or they were
different? How would each machine get its intended packet?tyvm
