It turned out to be hardware. :P

I've installed RH7.0 on 5 systems so far. One is a soon to be production
server.

There are issues. As always with a dot-ohh release.. But I have not
encountered any show-stoppers, yet. The only issues I've had are
instabilities in XFree4 (perhaps the installer knows best: It wanted me to
use 3.3.6, but insisted on XF86 4 because it's so much faster :) .

I've had the same problems with XF4 on other systems.

There are alot of big improvements in RH7... I found it particularly amusing
that the bugzilla poster thought RH7's C++ was broken.. It isn't, it's very
much better... The thought the it was broken most likely came from a recent
Linux-kernel list flame war (which I've been good and not followed up
publicly :) ) which was beyond the persons technical competence.

Oh- remember to apply your updates.. Two potential remote root exploits in
RH7 discovered.
