[Linux] Database

A number of people have mentioned an excellent idea for the ITEC trade
show,
and for future events that FLUX may participate in. The idea is to
collect
e-mail addresses of prospective FLUX members, then contact them in
advance
of the next FLUX meeting. We will not use the addresses for any other

purpose.

The next question is, of course, how should we do this? Paper forms
are not
a good method because it would take too much time to type in names
from a
list. The better way is to collect the addresses with a program
running at
the booth, then generate a mailing list. However, a fair amount of
time
poking through the web didn't turn up anything that really fits the
bill.

And so we come to the challenge: The First FLUX Programming Contest!

I tied to respond to the above message from the announcements for
FLUX, but it would not let me. I need to know who to contact since I
can do the database application in less than 1 hour on a Linux system.
