[Linux] Search & Replace text on 1000 files

If the server is unix, you can learn sed and use a:
find /html/docroot/ -exec sed blah blah {} \;
or if you have a friend with Adobe GoLive, you can import it and use its
builting search and replace facility to remove the unwanted data.
