Overview
========
Our client is searching for talented Linux Developers to join its Boca Raton
facility to support and enhance the company's web hosting solutions. The
position
is a minimum 6 month contract with the possibility of going contract to
perm. This is
an immediate need and they are ready to hire right away.
Job Description
============
-6+ years of experience developing complex UNIX
solutions.
- Responsible for creating software to facilitate internet
hosting.
- Integrate 3rd party packages with the company's web hosting
platforms.
- Responsible for maintaining 3rd party packages as used by the company
in web hosting plans.
Required Skills
===============
- FreeBSD and/or Linux system level software development is a must.
- Network programming .
- Experience with internet services - http, imap, pop, smtp, etc.
- C/C++/Perl (or Python) language experience (current).
Desired Skills
==============
- Internet hosting.
- Linux Package management (strong plus).
Personal Requirements
=====================
- BS in EE/Computer Science or equivalent work experience.
- Excellent communication skills - verbal and written.
