Job description: Research and resolve end-user problems and questions
about the specific business application=20

Monitor applications proactively looking at trouble areas so

Install or coordinate the installation of application

Serve as a liaison to LAN Administration, LAN Engineering,

Administration, and Configuration Management areas regarding

Assist in capacity planning, performance monitoring and
tuning, and data assurance on the system.=20
Coordinate data recovery with development staff, Database

Participate in disaster recovery planning, including
assisting with fault tolerance and disaster recovery=20
plans. Need to support Sun Solaris, but others are helpful
to know - I don't want to limit to Solaris, in fact we don't need a
"high-end" UNIX guru, just a good AppAdmin who has medium level
experience w/UNIX syntax, understands basic scripting, knows how to look
at permissions, etc

Required skills: Seasoned Systems Administrator
Exp with UNIX REQUIRED
Exp with building Microsoft OS's REQUIRED
MCSE PREFFERED
Any exposure to PeopleSoft, Vignette, Weblogic, SalesLogix,
etc.). NICE to haves
