Position: System Administrator

Assigned Responsibilities                     

    * Provide support and maintenance for company-wide network, network 
services, servers, and desktops
    * Provide leadership for planning, development, implementation, 
maintenance, and documentation for computer systems with multiple 
functions crossing organizational lines
    * Work with other relevant departments to maintain network hardware, 
software, and support requirements
    * Works under general direction of and reports to CFO
    * Designs and implements complex local and wide-area networks of 
machines
    * Establishes and recommends policies on system use, services, and 
network security
    * Provides technical lead and/or supervises system administrators, 
system programmers, or others of equivalent seniority
    * Provides support for servers and desktop users in Microsoft 
Windows, Linux, and other UNIX environments including installation, 
configuration, and maintenance of both the operating system and 
applications running on the systems
    * Provides user support for access to the network, printers, and 
servers as well as defining and enforcing policies on use of such services
    * Has purchasing authority with approval CFO approval on purchase 
order and responsibility for purchase justification
    * Responsible for data integrity and all aspects of system 
performance and reliability including backup systems
    * Responsible for tracking, purchasing, and deploying computer 
hardware, software, and supplies


Minimum Education & Experience Requirements

    * High School Diploma
    * Experience:
·         administrating Linux systems
·         administrating Windows systems (NT, 2000, XP)
·         working with Cisco routers, switches, and firewalls
