Our client is looking to fill positions for 3-4 JAVA Developers. This is a
full-time opportunity in New York City with a comprehensive benefits
package.

The Java Development Analyst will write and/or enhance J2EE web applications
after working with a Business Analyst to understand and clarify requirements
and with a Technical Architect to develop detailed implementation designs.
Responsibilities include; documentation, follow process and code standards,
write unit tests, provide estimates and meet deadlines, contribute new
ideas, and a committment to quality.

- Minimum 3-5 years JAVA/J2EE development experience.
- Knowledge of SDLC, Software Patterns, Object/Relational Mapping, J2EE
application frameworks, Websphere, and SQL.
- Struts, Tiles, Spring, and Hibernate experience is desired.
- Experience with defect tracking systems like Mercury TestDirector and
version control systems such as Clearcase is a plus.
- Also favored is experience in the publishing industry.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to work in
a team environment are essential.
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or equivalent field is required.
