Greetings - Are you a LINUX SYSTEMS ADMINISTRATOR?  We are seeking a team
oriented Linux systems administrator for our client.  Please forward your

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
The qualified applicant will be an integral part of our development staff
and will work together in a small team to create, administer, integrate,
support, and maintain LINUX based systems.  The qualified applicant will be
responsible for assisting with the integration of new hardware and software
applications across multiple locations. Proven experience-troubleshooting
hardware, networking and Linux related problems as they arise.  They will be
required to be flexible, detail oriented and organized with the ability to
multitask and work independently. The qualified applicant must have the
initiative to determine what types of tools or processes can be put in place
in order for improve the company's  proprietary systems.  This position is
currently open for 2nd shift only, which would require a commitment from 4pm
to 1am.
SKILLS REQUIRED:
** YOU MUST HAVE SOLID EXPERIENCE WITH LINUX!
Candidates should possess most of the following
$B""(B Understanding of the Linux Kernel and modules build process is required
$B""(B Understanding of systems development lifecycle process is a must.
$B""(B Ability to write shell/PERL scripts to automate repetitive tasks
$B""(B Through knowledge of Apache and proven experience tuning web based
applications.
$B""(B Experienced Linux sys admin (strong Linux Redhat skills are required)
$B""(B Be able to work effectively with and maintain a server environment
(build, customize, install, maintain as well as automate these tasks)
$B""(B Have a willingness to work unusual hours.
$B""(B Have solid web-related skills
$B""(B Exhibit familiarity with component and network monitoring systems
(Nagios experience is a plus)
$B""(B Solid networking experience is must.
$B""(B PHP, HTML MySQL experience is a plus.
