Job Description

The Web Developer is responsible for the development and maintenance of all applications
in use at the company. The ideal candidate has experience in developing applications in
an object-oriented manner, utilizing PHP and MySQL on a Linux platform. A strong
commitment to quality, structure and documentation is a must.

Responsibilities

    * Responsible for the ongoing maintenance and support of the different web-based
applications used by the company and its customers.
    * Responsible for the development of new applications.

Experience

Position requires a minimum of 3-years web development experience working with PHP and
with MySQL, preferably on a Linux platform (LAMP).  Experience should include working
through the full software development life cycle with a strong emphasis on
object-oriented software development.

Skills

    * PHP, MySQL, Apache and Linux Web Server.
    * Object-oriented design and development.
    * Strong analytical and conceptual skills.
    * Skilled in utilizing structured approaches to manage and solve technical and
business problems.         
    * Experience developing web applications using multiple technologies is a plus.
    * Experience in the travel and leisure industry is a plus.
