Message-ID: TOPIC: PHP in 2011 PRESENTER: Rasmus Lerdorf DATE: WEDNESDAY December 14, 2011 TIME: 7:00 Presentation begins LOCATION: Nova Southeastern University, Carl DeSantis Building near the library (directions ) This is a special event in partnership with the South Florida PHP User Group. Rasmus Lerdorf is the creator of PHP! We expect lots of people to attend, so the meeting will be held in a different building than our usual location, but still on the Nova Southeastern University main campus in Davie. The presentation will be held in the first-floor auditorium of the Carl DeSantis building. *About the Speaker:* Rasmus Lerdorf is known for having gotten the PHP project off the ground in 1995 and has contributed to a number of other open source projects over the years. He spent 7 years at Yahoo and has since worked for and consulted with various startups. He was born in Greenland, grew up in Denmark and Canada and has a Systems Design engineering degree from the University of Waterloo. *Mark your calendar!
