Hi Gang ... No thoughts about the group, just my answers to the poll.

Something generic such as Linux+ or LPI. The new edition of LPI
Certification in a Nutshell won't be published until June 1 and the
(current? Prior?) edition was published in 2001, so maybe we should
avoid the LPI for now. Changes to a textbook indicates changes to the
test. (Hey, was that a thought?)

Fort Lauderdale

Tuesday and Saturday evenings are out for me. I also spend about one
week in four out of town on business. (This month has been tough; I
was gone last week and I'm leaving again next week.) I think meetings,
especially those after a work day, should be scheduled for no more
than 1.5 hours. Otherwise I'm open.

I've always been partial to O'Reilly and SAMS.
