I belong to the Broward Linux meetup group, among others. The host, Paul
Kruger, who also hosts several other meetup groups based on non-Windows
computer tech, is hosting a 24-hour project kickstart / networking /
socializing session he's calling "Miami Mayhem", though this session
will be held in Fort Lauderdale.
In case anyone in the group is interested, check out
<http://linux.meetup.com/189/boards/view/viewthread?thread=2046857> or
<http://tinyurl.com/f2fun> (heh ... I like that generated URL) and see
if you might like to drop in for some (or all) of the session.
(I thought I'd post this to the [cert] group first because the event is
at a house in Fort Lauderdale and might be overrun if I posted this to
[talk].)
It's free, though food is not provided so you should bring your own,
order out, go to a restaurant, etc. Internet connections are provided
for those who need them. The focus for this session is on web
development and entrepreneurship (one of the attendees is putting
together a startup). Kruger is a php developer behind
